Key responsibilities of an Account Executive
This role requires a blend of high-level technical understanding, sales acumen, and the ability to build and retain client relationship.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and challenges to identify opportunities where the Power Platform can provide value.
Sales and Business Development: Drive sales of Power Platform solutions by identifying potential clients, conducting outreach, and managing the sales pipeline. Work closely with marketing and product teams to create compelling pitches and presentations.
Market Research and Strategy: Stay updated with industry trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies. Use market insights to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
Collaboration with Technical Teams: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions are feasible and align with client expectations. Act as a liaison between the client and technical teams during solution development and implementation if necessary.
Client Education and Support: Educate clients on the capabilities and benefits of the Power Platform. Provide ongoing support and ensure customer satisfaction post-implementation.
Revenue Goals and Reporting: Achieve and exceed agreed revenue targets. Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and client feedback to management.
Contract Negotiation and Closing: Assist with contract negotiations, ensuring that terms are favourable and align with company policies. Effectively close deals and manage the transition to the Delivery team.
